世界农化网中文网报道：近日，英国健康与安全执行局（HSE）发布公告，对噻螨酮（hexythiazox）和茚虫威（indoxacarb）两种农药活性成分在部分农产品中的最大残留限量（MRLs）进行了修订。新限量已于2026年7月25日正式通过，并将于2027年1月25日起生效执行，以便贸易伙伴和食品经营者有时间适应新的限量标准。

Why it matters: The companies plan to combine their technologies and development capabilities, including Heidelberg Pharma’s proprietary ATAC technology, which uses amanitin as a payload, with Huadong’s research and development capabilities.

A new Stem Cell Reports study describes a scalable method for generating CD4+ helper T cells from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). The work, which was done by scientists at Boston University’s Center for Regenerative Medicine (CReM) and Boston Medical Center, could boost efforts to generate off-the-shelf CAR T-cell therapies for use in patients with cancers and chronic inflammatory diseases. Their paper is aptly titled “ Generation of effector CD4+ T cells from human iPSC .”

Immunotherapies, like CAR T-cell therapy, are well known in the cancer field. But they can also be used to treat autoimmune disorders. Now, six patients with severe rheumatoid arthritis (RA) have received this treatment at Charité—Universitätsmedizin Berlin. The results from the world’s first clinical trial showed that disease activity decreased substantially in all participants. By the end of the observation period, three of the patients no longer required any medication for their RA.

Can the cultivated meat industry benefit people on weight-loss drugs?One company is attempting to do just that. ProFuse Technology, a supplier of cell culture media supplements, spent two years working on a project to solve the cost, scalability and functional challenges of cultivated meat, backed by €2.4M ($2.8M) in funding from the European Innovation Council (EIC).
