STEYR has a strong heritage in specialty farming, with Austrian-built tractors from the renowned STEYR 80 series, manufactured in St. Valentin between 1979 and 1997, earning a reputation among growers for reliability, agility and performance. With the new Spezial F CVT, STEYR builds on this legacy with a new generation of tractors designed for fruit, hop and other high-value crop producers working in wider row systems, on sloping terrain and in other challenging growing conditions.

The new Spezial F CVT blends proven STEYR expertise with the innovative technologies that define today’s product range. Available in three models with maximum power outputs from 100-120hp, the STEYR Spezial F CVT is offered in dedicated configurations. A reversible fan on the 3.6-litre FPT engine ensures efficient cooling in dusty conditions, while a 104-litre fuel tank helps maximise working time between refuelling stops.
Manoeuvrability in orchards is further enhanced by adaptive steering settings, allowing operators to tailor steering response for easier operation in confined environments.
STEYR CVT: smooth, stepless productivity
At the heart of the new range is the iconic STEYR S-Control CVT transmission, delivering smooth, stepless operation and optimum efficiency. The industry-leading top speed of 50kph can be achieved at just 1,780rpm, while 40kph requires only 1,500rpm during transport applications.
Hydraulic performance is equally impressive. A closed-centre load-sensing hydraulic system delivers 115 l/min flow to support multiple rear and side remote valves, enabling several operations to be carried out simultaneously in a single pass. The rear linkage provides ample lifting capacity for a wide range of mounted implements.
Unlike many tractors in this segment, the Spezial F CVT can be equipped with a comprehensive integrated precision farming package. Available technologies include S-Guide auto guidance, the Infomat 1200 touchscreen terminal, EasyTronic II headland management, S-Turn automated row-end turning, the A1000 receiver and seamless connectivity with the FieldOps™ digital farm management platform.
Maximum comfort, minimum effort
Operators benefit from the premium comfort expected of a STEYR tractor. Features include adjustable cab suspension, a suspended front axle, a premium seat and industry-leading low in-cab noise levels of just 69 decibels. Category 4 filtration helps protect operators during spraying operations, while a pneumatic trailer brake valve enhances safety when operating trailed equipment.
A comprehensive 12-LED work lighting package supports safe and productive operation during early mornings and late evenings, while an optional camera system comprising left-hand, right-hand and rear-view cameras enhances visibility where required.
