ADM Launches Eight Soy and Pea Protein Ingredients Across North America and Europe

Agribusiness ADM has added eight new plant protein products to its ingredient portfolio, targeting food manufacturers in North America and Europe with expanded soy and pea-based solutions.

The new lineup spans soy protein isolates, soy protein concentrates, and pea flour, covering applications including plant-based meat alternatives, dairy alternatives, beverages, baked goods, and snacks. Two of the products, textured and concentrate soy proteins sold under the Arcon brand, are specifically sourced from European supply chains to serve regional customers in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Growing demand for protein variety

Greg Dodson, Vice President, Protein, North America, ADM, stated, “Protein is one of the most dynamic areas of nutrition, with consumers now asking for more variety, functionality and choices than ever before. With new ingredient introductions and expanding capabilities in facilities across the globe, ADM is uniquely positioned to not only meet that demand at scale, but to also help shape the future of protein innovation.”

Global infrastructure behind the range

ADM operates protein-focused facilities across multiple regions, including a 36,000-square-foot protein solutions center in Decatur, Illinois; an innovation center at Wageningen University in the Netherlands; a SojaProtein facility in Serbia; and a Customer Creation and Innovation Center in Hortolândia, Brazil. The company points to this regional manufacturing footprint as central to its ability to adapt formulations to local market requirements.
